Case Study: Sariñena Municipal Residential Center

Given the generalized growth in the demand for new residences and a greater number of vacancies, the Sariñena City Council has turned to respond to the needs of the elderly population.

Its expansion project at the Sariñena Residential Center was inaugurated with the remodeling and expansion of its second floor, which now has 23 double rooms, 4 single rooms and several geriatric toilets. In addition, there is a staff control and security area, a living room, a cognitive stimulation room, a spacious living room with a large terrace and several outdoor spaces for gardening activities.

DEVELOPMENT AND OUTCOME

At pardo, we approached the development of this 360º project from a people-centered perspective, whose design and implementation takes into account our constant mission, which is to facilitate the daily life of users and their well-being. facilitate the daily life of users and their wellbeing.

In this case we have had furniture adapted to the best care of people and we have focused on the conditioning of living spaces for the optimal development of the social life of users.

For this purpose, Pardo supplied and installed 25 TrendLow beds, 25 Classic Evo beds, 50 closets, 50 bedside tables, 100 Trado chairs and 50 coat racks in the center’s bedrooms.

The common areas have been equipped with 9 round tables 664-A, 18 Belate Med armchairs, 8 Belate Relax armchairs, 2 Monza sofas, 2 Atlas sofas, 6 Lima armchairs, 2 668 tables, a 750-00 sideboard, a standing coat rack and some lighting elements.

In addition, both the geriatric toilets and the outdoor areas have been supplied with various sets of kitchenware and other everyday utensils.

OUTSTANDING SOLUTIONS

This project highlights our Classic Evo and TrendLow articulated beds.

Classic Evo, synonymous with simplicity and evolution to facilitate care work, is designed for user comfort, with short handrails with folding system, offering a point of support when getting out of bed. Likewise, its articulated bed in four planes facilitates the most comfortable position according to the needs.

Adjustable legs, brake pedal and removable ABS beds are outstanding features for daily use by health and social care staff.

TrendLow, ergonomic and versatile bed, with multiple configurations to achieve different degrees of safety adapted to the level of dependence of each person.

Its outstanding property is its wide lifting range, reaching minimum heights, avoiding the use of restraints or physical barriers and minimizing risks in case of falls.
