The NewCare Junior is an electric hospital bed, specifically designed for paediatric patients.
The bed is equipped with all the features of a ward bed but is focused on children’s care.

Optimum Safety
- Full-length split siderails fitted with anti-trapping system, in compliance with standard IEC 60601-2-52. These siderails are fixed to the structure
- The siderails are lowered using a gas spring to soften the effect of the siderail’s movement.
- Visual bed position indicators on the siderails.
- Easily removable headboard and footboard with quick release system.
- Mechanical CPR handle on both sides of the bed.
- Bed protected against infection, thanks to its steel structure with antimicrobial paint coating tested in accordance with ISO 22196:201.
- Fully electric articulated bed with IPX6 protection against penetration of liquids.
- Tool-free, easily removable 4 independent bed base sections for easy cleaning and bed maintenance.
Easy Manoeuvrability
- 150 mm integral castors. One of them with steering function.
- Centralized braking system with drive by a central bar on the footboard.
- Bumpers located at the four corners as shock protection.
Care & Comfort
- Advanced wired nursing control, it allows to activate and cancel the different functions and has the preprogrammed therapeutic positions of the bed.
- Basic wired patient control.
- Preprogrammed therapeutic positions: Cardiac chair, Shock position, Examination and CPR.
- 30 cm of bed base extension.
- The combined self-regression (14’5 cm) of the back and leg sections promotes abdominal decompression and minimises the risk of pressure ulcers.
- Hand-operated, shock absorber-assisted foot section, independent of the knee section, to promote venous return.
Ergonomic design
- Three HPL removable bed base sections (backrest, legrest and footrest) and fixed central section made by sheet steel finished with epoxy polyester coating
- Radiolucent backrest, including guides for attaching an X-ray cassette.
- 4 mattress retainer arcs to prevent the mattress for shifting.
- 4 accessory holders located at the bed corners to easily fasten accessories.
- Bilateral drainage bag supports with DIN hooks on each one for placing drains, diuresis and nasogastric bags.
