Density 900
The Density 900 mattresses are made of materials complying with the core patient-centred principles of relieving pressure and minimising ulcers. As a result of its multi-profiled design in the upper layer with a deeper profiling in those areas subject to higher pressure, the mattress offers different rest areas according to the patient’s body zones. This reduces the skin pressure on the mattress, preventing the formation of bedsores.
They offer extra firmness and stability thanks to the side reinforcements that provide additional support on the mattress edges, allowing users to sit or lie on the edge without sinking in too much. Besides, these side reinforcements help preserving the shape and structure of the mattress.

Core
- Base: 8 cm HR high density (30 kg/m3) polyurethane foam. Firm foam that provides great cushioning.
- Middle layer made of high breathability polyurethane foam according to ISO 9237:995. Its open cell structure provides more ventilation in the core and prevents patient maceration.
- Upper layer: 4 cm ThermoFoam slow recovery viscoelastic foam. This viscoelastic attenuates vibration and absorbs shock, providing support and comfort to the user.
- 16 cm side reinforcements facilitate the patient getting in and out of bed.
- Latex free, antiallergic, antibacterial and antifungal.
- It does not present medical contraindications, nor elements that are harmful, harmful or toxic to health. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 class I certification.
Comfort and adaptability
- Channel system at the base of the core, allowing it to adapt to the shape of the articulated bed without causing discomfort to the patients.
- Internal channels improve the unidirectional ventilation effect caused by the cover, preventing maceration of the patient’s skin.
- Depending on pressure zones of the body, the surface incorporates different profiled sections that reduce the pressure points.
- Symmetrical core that allows the head and foot areas to be used interchangeably.
- X-Ray ready.
- It does not interfere with the use of railings.
Cover
- Density mattresses are protected by a 100% bi-elastic cover. This fits perfectly to the beds.
- Fabric composition: Polyester with fire retardant polyurethane.
- Latex free, hypoallergenic and radiolucent.
- Non-friction fabric that avoids the effect of shearing
- Machine washable up to 95°C, resistant to disinfection with chlorine solution up to 10.000 ppm.
- Breathable and waterproof.
- Antibacterial and antifungal according to the ISO 846:1997 standard.
- Fireproof: BS7177 CRIB5 M1.
- Free of dangerous compounds and chemicals products. According to RoHs and REACH standards.
- U-shaped zipper for easy donning and flap to protect against the penetration of liquids.
