Bora Class

High performance for any stage of the user’s evolution.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology that optimises movement, the Bora Class nursing care bed is an effective solution for long-stay nursing care needs. Folding three-tube side rails design delivers all-round protection to the user while preserving visibility outwards, offering a sense of safety and freedom.

The bed can adapt to any stage of the user’s life. The minimum height reduces the risk of the sleeper falling and the maximum height is priceless for the nursing staff, as it improves ergonomics and efficiency in daily care routine. This versatility ensures the bed adapts to the evolving needs of residents, delivering comfort and safety at all times.

Bora Class bed complies with the Ecodesign environmental standards, featuring improvements to keep environmental impact to a minimum and ensuring sustainable product management.

Features

Well-being & Prevention

  • Care, mobilisation and safe sleep, provided by the lifting actuators delivering three automatic stops.
  • The bed can reach a low position, thus reducing the risk of injury related to falls, for those users prone to leave the bed. A particularly attractive function as an alternative to conventional securing measures for users.
  • Automatic therapeutic functions, easy to operate at the push of a button, provide hospital bed-like performance.
  • The therapeutic Cardiac Chair, Trend/Antitrend and CPR functions perform a sequence of movements following a pattern of intervals necessary to ensure user ergonomics and safety.
  • The combined autoregression of the thorax and thigh sections (14 cm) relieves abdominal and sacral pressure respectively, preventing the formation of pressure ulcers on bedridden users.
  • A shock absorber system allows the lower limb section to be adjusted independently to any height. This function is intended to promote the return blood flow, this position being particularly useful for long-stay users or those with vascular problems.

Ergonomics & Design

  • Tool-free, easily removable bed base sections, made of impact-resistant, lightweight sanitary ABS.
  • Fully electric articulated bed, equipped with a double compass lifting system and linear actuators (IP66 protection class).
  • Steel frame with antimicrobial paint coating, tested according to ISO 22196:2011, protects the bed against infection.
  • Accessories brackets on the headboard.
  • The Bora Class bed complies with the UNE-EN 60601-2-52:2010 standard.

Day-to-day safety

  • Metal siderails, easily removable with no tools, are located on both sides of the bed.
  • When in the raised position, an automatic locking system prevents unintentional lowering of the side rails. In addition, they are fitted with a manual trigger release system to lower them.
  • The siderails comply with the anti-trapping systems standard according to IEC 60601-2-52.

Control & Usability

  • Backlit wired control fitted with a function blocking system, intended for both bedridden users and nursing staff.
  • Four double swivel Ø100 mm castors.
  • A simultaneous braking system can be actuated from the footboard bar, easy access regardless of the height and position of the bed.
  • Total length with headboard & footboard: 204 cm
  • Total width with side rails: 101 cm
  • Height adjustment: 23’5 – 43’5 – 83’5 cm
