Comfort & Adaptability
- Articulated bed base with 4 independent sections allowing each user to find their own optimal position.
- The bed base is positioned on a lifting trolley that lets the bed be adjusted to suit the different situations and needs of the users.
- The maximum bed height offers a comfortable position for the nursing staff to perform patient care tasks. In addition, it makes cleaning and maintenance tasks under the bed easier.
- The minimum height of 44 cm eases getting in and out of bed, while reducing the physical effort for the caregiver when moving the user from the bed to a wheelchair, an armchair or anywhere else.
Design and Ergonomics
- Tool-free, easily removable bed base sections, made of fireproof, water-repellent, anti-fungal and highly resistant HPL.
- Fully electric articulated bed, equipped with a scissor lift system and a compact actuator (IPX4 protection class).
- Oversized and strengthened lifting carriage for greater stability and sturdiness.
- Steel frame with antimicrobial paint coating, tested according to ISO 22196:2011, protects the bed against infection.
- Accessories brackets on the headboard.
- Mattress fastening ring in the lower limb section to prevent unintentional movement of the mattress when the bed base is hinged.
- The Classic XL bed complies with the UNE-EN 60601-2-52:2010 standard.
Day-to-day safety
- Metal siderails, easily removable with tools, are located on both sides of the bed.
- When in the raised position, an automatic locking system prevents unintentional lowering of the side rails. In addition, they are fitted with a manual trigger release system to lower them.
- The siderails comply with the anti-trapping systems standard according to IEC 60601-2-52.
- The bed is prepared for operating user transfer equipment, with a real clearance of 15 cm and regardless of the bed base height.
Control & Usability
- Small wired control fitted with the main user comfort adjustment functions. A function locking key is included to restrict access and ensure the user’s safety.
- Ease of movement and sliding at any height thanks to the running gear consisting of four Ø125 mm metal castors.
- Simultaneous braking system which can be actuated from the double pedal located on the footboard.
