Density 450 mattresses feature a thermo-sensitive core with a superior adaptability, thus reaching a larger contact surface than a standard mattress and achieving low capillary occlusion indexes.
The central viscoelastic foam expands the body surface in contact with the mattress, accurately shaping itself to the body, thus reducing transcutaneous pressures in high-risk areas and promoting blood irrigation.
In addition, the exclusive design of the profiling in the head and heel areas reduces the pressure on the skin, especially on the bony areas, thus promoting blood flow and minimizing the risk of pressure ulcers.

Core
- Base: 10 cm HR high density (40 kg/m3) polyurethane foam. Firm foam that provides great cushioning.
- Top layer with 3 distinct zones made of slow recovery MemoryFoam, which, upon contact with the patient, take on their anatomical shape and position.
- High-density (85 Kg/m³) central viscoelastic foam moulds the body softly and precisely, providing greater firmness for healthier cardiovascular posture.
- Softer viscoelastic foam is used in the head and heel areas to enhance blood circulation and reduce pressure points.
- Fireproof foams according to the BS5852:2 CRIB5, UNE EN 597-1 y UNE EN 597-2 regulations.
- Latex free, antiallergic, antibacterial and antifungal.
- It does not present medical contraindications, nor elements that are harmful, harmful or toxic to health. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 class I certification.
Comfort and adaptability
- Profiling in the head and foot areas rebalances and reduces pressure from the patient’s weight, distributing it harmoniously, while also reducing maceration effects due to improved air circulation.
- Channel system at the base of the core, allowing it to adapt to the shape of the articulated bed without causing discomfort to the users.
- Symmetrical core that allows the head and foot areas to be used interchangeably.
- It does not interfere with the use of railings.

- Density mattresses are protected by a 100% bi-elastic cover. This fits perfectly to the beds.
- Fabric composition: Polyester with fire retardant polyurethane.
- Latex free, hypoallergenic and radiolucent.
- Non-friction fabric that avoids the effect of shearing
- Machine washable up to 95°C, resistant to disinfection with chlorine solution up to 10.000 ppm.
- Breathable and waterproof.
- Antibacterial and antifungal according to the ISO 846:1997 standard.
- Fireproof: BS7177 CRIB5 M1.
- Free of dangerous compounds and chemicals products. According to RoHs and REACH standards.
- U-shaped zipper for easy donning and flap to protect against the penetration of liquids.
