Reaching six decades of history is an achievement that can only be attained with vision, perseverance, and a strong commitment to people. Today, as we celebrate our 60th anniversary, we reaffirm our purpose as a leading provider of articulated bed solutions and hospital and healthcare equipment. We look back with pride at the path we’ve traveled and forward with determination as we continue to build the future.

Our origins

Our story began in 1965 in Zaragoza, Spain, as a small workshop dedicated to repairing hydraulic shock absorbers. This initial activity soon transformed into the foundation of our first major development: wall-mounted folding beds. This innovative solution for its time led us to make our first international leap and opened the door to a market where functionality, comfort, and reliability would become our identity.

Growth, Specialization, and Internationalization

The 1990s marked a turning point. Our entry into the healthcare and hospital sector represented a profound technological, industrial, and strategic evolution. We began by equipping nursing homes and later developed our own hospital beds capable of meeting the real needs of professionals and patients.

Today, we are present in over 60 countries and have a strong presence in markets such as Mexico, the United States, Morocco, Poland, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Egypt, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Since our integration into the Pikolin Group in 2012, we have strengthened our industrial capacity, expanded our global reach, and accelerated the development of new solutions.

In our 30,000 m² facilities in La Muela (Zaragoza), we develop our three lines of business:

Our focus is clear: innovation, operational efficiency, customization, and compliance with the most demanding international standards. We are certified with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 14006, and ISO 45001, validating our commitment to quality, sustainability, and management.

Commitment and Responsibility

Throughout our journey, we have faced challenges that have tested our responsiveness, organization, and values. During the 2020 pandemic, we were declared an essential service company and supplied beds and equipment to hospitals and emergency centers, both in Spain and other countries. That experience reaffirmed our service vocation and our responsibility to society.

Our efforts have been recognized with awards such as the Export Award from the Chamber of Commerce and the Business Excellence Award from the IAF, distinctions we receive with pride and, above all, with a sense of commitment.

Looking Ahead

Our mission for the future is clear: to lead the transformation of the hospital and healthcare sector by developing solutions that provide safety, ergonomics, and efficiency, integrating new technologies and actively listening to the professionals who trust us.

Additionally, we transfer that knowledge to the home, where we work to offer advanced solutions for domestic rest, with the same philosophy we apply in the care setting.

Similarly, we promote our 360° Projects, a comprehensive “turnkey” proposal for healthcare centers that encompasses furniture, equipment, and space design, creating safe, functional, aesthetic environments centered on well-being.
